Wow this completely changed the look of our yard. We use it almost every night. Gives visitors something to do as we visit. The guys at Athletic Design did a great job. And really looks cool at night. Worth every penny.

My experience wasn’t very good.

Here are something’s to know before going into your project:
They will provide a quote based on a video you send them.  However, the quote is solely to get your project started.  They will hit you with a change order once they get there and start the job.
They subcontract out everything, very normal for this type of work, as expected.  However, the company representative was onsite a total of 25 minutes over a three day span.
The subcontractor wasn’t following the plan and the customer had to stop the subcontractor twice when there were deviations noticed.  I called the company representative and told him and there were no issues adjusting and moving forward, but I still felt like I was doing his job.  I felt like I should be paying myself for watching the job.
A change order was sent to the customer because their quote didn’t incorporate getting the sports court level with adjacent structure and pool, which we all agreed to that morning  Again, they bid the project blind.  Their bid was actually a few percent higher than my other two but went with them due to availability and method.  I now know why they were almost immediately available and the other two quotes were busy.  I asked for receipts of the change order, was being billed for 5 truck loads of dirt to be hauled off.  After waiting for receipts, the subcontractor wasn’t truthful to the company representative and only hauled off two billable loads of dirt, not five.  Extremely dishonest, however he was not onsite to verify anything and fortunately I had cameras on the project.

I would not recommend this company.  I never saw the end project because we decided to stop midway, after concrete, and use someone more reputable.

I found the individual was a nice guy (part owner), but I think he is stretched to thin and his oversight and management of the project was extremely poor, at best.

I was also told, “you are the first customer we have ever had, challenge a change order!”  I find that very hard to believe, but darn thing I did, change order was fraudulent.

Great company.  Good work, responsive, and the end product looks amazing.  The owner (Casey) is great to work with and knows how to build courts and keep customers happy.  Can't ask for more than that !!  Love these guys.

They did a great job.  The project was completed on time, they did what they said they would do, and did quality work.  Not much else you could ask for.
