Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Niche Leads, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use installers.org (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a quote request, contact form, or listing, we collect the information you give us, such as:
- your name and contact details (email address and/or phone number);
- your ZIP code or location;
- the service you’re requesting and any project details or messages you include; and
- for Providers, your business name, contact information, service area, and listing details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect limited technical and usage data — such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages — through cookies and similar technologies and analytics tools.
2. How We Use Your Quote Requests
This is central to how the Service works, so we want to be clear about it. When you submit a quote request or ask to be connected with a Provider, you authorize and instruct us to share the information in your request with one or more independent Providers who serve your area so they can contact you and attempt to fulfill your request. The information we share is limited to what is reasonably needed to do this — typically your name, contact details, ZIP/location, and the project details you provide.
- A single request may be shared with multiple Providers at the same time (for example, when you use “Get Fast Quote”), so that you can receive and compare quotes.
- Providers are independent third parties. Once we share your request with a Provider, that Provider uses your information on its own behalf, under its own privacy practices, which we do not control. We are not responsible for how a Provider uses, stores, or contacts you with your information.
- We do not need your request to contact you in order to share it with Providers — sharing it to fulfill your request is the purpose of submitting it. If you don’t want your information shared with Providers, please don’t submit a quote request.
3. How We Use Information Generally
- to operate, maintain, and improve the Service and its directory;
- to connect you with Providers and facilitate quote requests, as described above;
- to respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about the Service;
- to understand usage and improve performance and content; and
- to comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Other Ways We Share Information
- Service vendors. We use trusted third-party vendors (for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics) that process information on our behalf to operate the Service.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, Providers, the public, or us.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Selling your information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Note, however, that sharing your quote request with Providers (Section 2) is a core part of the Service; depending on your state, that sharing may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain privacy laws. You can limit this by not submitting a request, or by contacting us (see Section 8).
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and understand how it’s used. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.
6. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Note that Providers who have received your request keep their own copies, which are outside our control.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sharing your information with additional Providers, by contacting us at privacy@installers.org. Please note that we cannot retrieve or delete information already shared with a Provider — for that, you’ll need to contact the Provider directly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party sites, including Providers. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
