Everything you wanted to do in high school shop class or when visiting in art supply store but never had time or knew where to start. Team of volunteers lead monthly special interest groups on whatever artistry you are interested in from ceramic to microelectronics metal work to blazers. They even have a class for startup entrepreneurs. Perhaps the best part are the fellow makers who are more than happy to proudly show what they do and why they are passionate about it.

Fantastic place! Tools and equipment of all kinds for your use. Wood shop, Metal shop, CNC, Laser cutters, 3D printing, sewing machines, vinyl cutter, Sublimation printing and heat presses, Electronics lab, Metal Mills, Metal Lathes, Wood lathes, Hand tools, and the list goes on and on! Very affordable. Open 22 hours a day, EVERY day. Lots of friendly people to help with questions or problems. You can even use it for business or prototyping. Classes are required for most equipment , but they are inexpensive and pretty frequent. You can even rent office space if needed. From beginner to professional, this place is THE place to be!

Not only is Asmbly useful as a shop, but it has also broadened my interests and skills through the time I’ve spent here. What used to be familiarity only with electronics and some 3D printing has gradually expanded to textiles, lasers, woodworking, metalworking, and ceramics, as well as various other hobbies shared across the shop.

It’s all thanks to the wonderful and friendly leaders and members here, who effectively maintain the tools in the shop, host activities, and welcome other guests and members and assist them with their ventures.

The price for this shop is worth it, and so is the volunteering program that enables makers to come to the shop for free. I’ve been volunteering for about a year and a half, and the things I’ve learned here has helped me grow as a leader, a maker, and an individual. I strongly recommend attending a free orientation, just to envision what you can reap from Asmbly Makerspace! 💚💚

Amazing place that allows members to utilize their space and tools to make things. It's run by an awesome staff and volunteers, and they can help you with whatever you wish to learn there.

Asmbly is a wonderful place to make things, make friends, and get inspired. The space has a huge selection of tools to bring your projects to life. Each department; ceramics, woodshop, metalshop, 3d printing, textiles, lasers, and electronic is well stocked. The tools may draw you in at first, but the people will keep you coming back. There are always events, special interest groups, or classes to make connections. Universally, the other members are excellent and seem dedicated to creating an open and inviting space. If you are looking for a workshop and a third place, look no further.
