Jared accepted a job assembling a playset we purchased for the backyard. Originally he told us he'd be there to assemble it on monday (3/31), but he didn't show. He came on Tuesday, put a few hours in and said he would be back again the following day to finish up, shouldn't be more than a couple hours. Again, he never showed up. This occurred multiple times where he would say he only has an hour left, he only has an hour left and it wouldn't be done. Fast forward a week, it's still not done. The only communication I got was when I either called or text him, but never him updating us. It's not until wednesday (4/9) of the following week that the playset is "done." Wife and I were away when he finished so he sent pictures, but what he failed to show was the screws barely hanging into the boards. There are missing bolts, items not correctly installed, the whole thing isn't secured to the ground. I asked about this and the explanation was that he tried inserting a stake and hit rock, so therefore he didn't install any of them and he took the stakes. I can't even finish the project myself cause he took all the hardware with him. No explanation, just felt entitled to take it as his own. When asked to return the stolen items, he said he would bring it by after his current job, but I'm sure you can guess whether or not he showed up...

I wouldn't recommend Jared and this company to anyone that actually values their property. I'm literally going through the instructions to verify everything that's installed, because he has lost all trust as a "professional" and I truly don't feel safe for my kids to be on this playset.

We bought a new home and wanted to move our Rainbow Play System to the new place. Called Rainbow system but they were backed up for a couple of months. They recommended Jared from Lone Star Assembly. Called Jared that same day. He gave me a fair quote and a timeline and he was very transparent on the damage the wood had. He was able to restore my kiddo’s play system and we are so happy with his work. We highly recommend him if you have to move your play system.

Jared did a great job assembling our playground. Everything is secured, balanced, and sealed! His pricing was also very reasonable.

Jeremy and his crew did a fantastic job building our playset! We have a pretty steep slope but they took their time to make sure everything was leveled and safe for my kids. We highly recommend Lone Star Assembly!

Extremely disappointed with the service provided. I was quoted a 6-hour job that would be completed the same day—but it ended up dragging out over 3 weeks. Communication was poor throughout, with repeated delays, last-minute cancellations, and constant excuses. He was rarely on time and difficult to reach for updates. He would give a ETA or say we were his next stop and then would not show up and also not inform us that he was not showing up.

The quality of the work was unacceptable. Bolts and screws were missing or left loose, the structure was unstable, and shockingly, some parts were taken from the site without explanation. I also paid an extra fee to have the playset sealed and was told it was “partially done”—but it was never done at all.

There was zero accountability, and we had to constantly call and text him repeatedly for updates. What should’ve been a simple, one-day project turned into a stressful, drawn-out mess. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unsafe—do not hire this company if you value your time, money, or your children’s safety.

Be aware if you choose to take a chance pay with something other than Zelle because you are not going to be able to dispute anything.
